About this Nominee
The mission of Loaves and Fishes of Contra Costa (LFCC) is to provide community based food programs and partner services that focus on basic needs. LFCC has been a cornerstone in hunger relief for over four decades, aiding low-income residents facing challenges related to food insecurity, homelessness and health. LFCC's meal program, spanning five dining rooms and a mobile unit, provides daily free hot nutritious meals. Additionally, its culinary training program provides adults with skills to overcome food insecurity and employment barriers.
