About this Nominee
Nestled in the valley of rolling hills of Franklin Canyon, William Welch Wines was planted in 2005 on land farmed by the Welch family since 1886. Produced by one of the oldest families in Contra Costa County, WWW wines are made with local, sustainable grown grapes by grower Steve Welch, and wine made by winemakers Monty Paulsen and Steve Welch. The WWW new wine tasting room in downtown Martinez welcomes experienced and new wine drinkers enthusiastically to taste Martinez wine, to talk about Martinez history, and have fun meeting new friends.
