About this Nominee
Michael Davey, the owner of DVY Cards & Collectibles has created a safe space for kids and adults alike to come and enjoy a growing hobby. He offers good student programs to incentivize kids to do well in school, puts on educational tutorials for kids for collecting sport/pokemon cards, and sponsors various baseball teams within the town. A mom that brings her children into the store once told us that DVY is a safe space for her son that gets severely bullied, and it gives her peace of mind that her son has a place to go where he is not only accepted by Michael, but by the other customers thanks to the community that DVY has created within the town
